re-analysis of the Commission on Community Interrelations experiments
6 publications · 1,130 checks on the transcription · 47 data tables · 3 attitude experiments, 1946 · 7 preference rounds, 1945–1946 · 1 replication, 1949
Every file is a transcription of numbers the authors printed: cell means, counts, analysis-of-variance lines, test statistics, sample descriptions, and numbers that appear only in the running text. Every row carries its source table and page. The codebooks describe each column, the design behind it, and every place where the printed numbers disagree with each other.

# R cells <- read.csv("https://citron-reanalysis.pages.dev/data/cells.csv") subset(cells, outcome == "citizenship_answer1") # Python import pandas as pd choices = pd.read_csv("https://citron-reanalysis.pages.dev/data/sel1950_choices.csv") choices[choices["round"] == "VII"]
The file cells.csv holds the attitude-change means by experiment, answer and setting.
In mean_change, a negative value is a change toward the pro-Jewish end, as in the original tables.
